GREAT ROOM
NASHVILLE
A young couple approached us perplexed about how to address several spaces in their newly acquired mid-century home. The toughest was this great room, large enough to accommodate two generous seating areas. A classic English roll arm sofa with a chunky fringe creates a cozy and chic separation of space, while creamy walls, natural fiber rugs, and durable velvets and woven fabrics feel harmonious with the light-filled garden views outside the windows.
FOREST HILLS
NASHVILLE
For this Forest Hills home, a sense of nostalgia was top of mind. The client is an avid horse lover, and we incorporated a mix of inherited and newly found antique horse paintings in many of the common spaces. A family dining table got a fresh update when combined with a stunning mural wallpaper, antique carved mirror, and a patterned contrast fabric on the dining chair backs. The living room and entry have a selection of antiques - French side chairs found in Paris, an English chest, a beautiful walnut demilune table - mixed with a fresh palette of pinks, creams, and blues to breathe life into this classic and airy space.
